The first studio album from the comic hip-hop band “Namolla Family” has recorded sales of one billion won in the online music market.

The band’s agency said the exact numbers will be available in December, but a preliminary estimate shows that the sales of the band’s album have already exceeded one billion won.

The album’s title song, “I Love You,” has taken the top spots of various online music sites and entered the top-20 of public broadcasters’ music charts.

Music experts have credited the band, despite cited shortcomings, with revitalizing the stagnant music market and reaping success just two months after releasing its first album.
