Most of your are wondering why SG Wanna Be’s leader, Chae Dong Ha is leaving. Due to some disagreement with his company regarding the renewal of his contract, the problem remained unresolved. Chae Dong Ha wanted to extend his activities in addition to performing with SG Wanna Be. He wanted to be able to perform/act and undertake solo activities whilst under the name of SG. However, the company strictly disagreed, only wanting SG members to focus solely on singing as a group. Now.. it is not clear what really happened. It may be that Chae Dong Ha is persistant or that the company turned on him, and that attitude possibly caused him to lose trust in the company. I’m thinking it is of the latter.

Why is Dong Ha crying when it’s his choice to leave? Well, in general, he is an emotional person. He shed tears in the low and happy times. He IS human. But.. what he really is tearing over, is the fact that he will lose the brotherly bond developed with the two remaining members and for possibly the unknown future ahead of him. Will he ever be standing where he is ever again? But I don’t think he needs to worry too much. The success SG Wanna Be has brought him, I’m sure he’ll have a line of people waiting in hope of signing him up with their company. Of course he will forever stay in contact with Jinho and Yong Jun but… losing the opportunity to continue the journey with them is really saddening. To have one thing, you gotta give up another, and he knows that. There’s just that pitty that he still could have stayed with the group but that the company was in the way of things. Who knows the mastermind of entertainment companies or how valuable they perceive their stars, either as human beings or as investments. All we as consumers can do, is wonder….. unless we’re in the inner circle of things, we’ll never know what really happened.

Now.. back to what i planned to post.

This was the second last performance. You can see here that Dong Ha is trying to suppress his tears from falling. His eyes are filled with tears but he manages to control it.

SG Wanna Be - 보고싶어 - SBS Inkigayo [27.04.2008]
Here if you look closely, all members are emotional. Dong Ha shed tears first. During the performance he ruffles Jin Ho’s hair like an elder brother would do to a younger brother. I think from there, Jin Ho is moved, and it seemed as though two drop of tears or so falls as he sings. Yong Jun, we can see he is trying not to shed tears as well. His eyes are wondering off and he is sniffing. Aw… the brotherly bond. This video is a must keep.
