The first single of a new band. It is pretty good and has a cool, laid-back feeling to it. The song translates to “Believe.” I would look forward to more from them, but for now, they remain face-less.

An excellent female singer though I have not found much on her. I think she has to do something with Vietnam. Her voice is kind of like Yui (Japanese singer), but softer. The first song is a mix between pop and acoustic. I recommend you try. The second and third are good ballads.

If you were expecting another hit like “Tell Me”, then “So Hot” will not disappoint you. It is another addicting hit. Definitely try it. For me it is on re… re… repeat. The second track shifts away from the pop type of music and is a decent r&b/ballad song. The third track is another good upbeat pop song. In the first place I did not really like “Tell Me.” So, personally, you cannot tell me the difference between the regular and rap version of the fourth song except a very short section. They have improved alot in my opinion.

A very fun track… for trot. I am sure Daesung will make trot a little more popular with this song written by G-Dragon. Have fun listening to it! I personally could not listen to it too much, but it is enjoyable.

I was just expecting to listen to 8eight’s song, but the other two main tracks were good as well. 8eight definitely has changed their genre in this song from r&b to more of a pop/ballad song. I recommend you try it. The second track is an upbeat-ballad type of track. The third track is a good ballad, but not the awe-inspiring type. There are other songs from the OST, but they have not been completely released yet. So far the OST seems very happy and chae dongha is suppose to release a song when this OST is officially released [for neko28] ^^.

I really like the title track “My Love.” It has a lot of pop to it and is likely to become a catchy tune. Addicting? I like it much better than Fox Rain (which got annoying pretty quickly in my opinion). I am currently listening to the rest of the album, which are a mix of a couple ballads and mostly more upbeat songs. I admit they have good voices, but their unique voices are not the best in my ears for ballads; I like their upbeat songs much more. So far I like track 01, 06 and 10. I recommend 08 too because it has a very unique, happy, bubblegum feel to it.

A very good song! I feel like I have heard elements of the song though. Like parts of it reminds me of other songs. The beginning reminds me of FT Island’s “On Air” OST song “너 올 때까지” from their 1.5th album “The Refreshment”. Other parts reminds me of the previous SG Wannabe. There are other songs in the OST by various artists, but this song is basically the most popular. There is an instrumental in the OST if you want that as well.

Overall a great album because of his smooth and tender voice. I am glad that he created this solo album, which complements all the collaborations and singles that I have of him already. He first began through Clazziquai, but now he has expanded his own horizons into the world of ballads. I like almost all of the tracks, however, I will admit 08 and 12 took some time to get used to. My favorites are track 01, 10, and 15 (but I listen to all the songs).

When i first listened to this, it strongly reminded me of Big Bang. Battle has totally changed their style for this single, moving into electronic trance music. The song sounds fairly good, almost as though too close of a resemblance to Big Bang to be considered original. I think the main problem is just the beat and some of the rapping style. The title track, it’s really catchy after quite a while and you start to think.. it’s not so similar to Big Bang… that’s because you start to notice the difference. I quite like it now. Track 3 is also a good track. The start music, sounds a bit like Big Bang and the rap at around 2:04 is very T.O.P like! Overall, i think Battle can battle it out with Big Bang for sure. The difference of Battle is that they are more vocal pop orientated, more of a softer feel than Big Bang’s strong hip hop image.

If you remember, Happy Chair had previously released their first single called 잘한일 a while back ago. Now this is their official first album which also include the songs from their single. Fairly nice ballad album to listen to. I like track 3 
I remember listening to the title song on radio and wondering… this sounds so classic and chistmassy lol. I actually thought it was an old song. Jellyori, thanks for notifying about the weird track ordering on zd. I re-checked and labeled them all correctly below. The original link posted at z-degrees, well.. they had tracks 1 -3 correct but then at track no.4 they inserted track 11 and thus, everything after that was shifted one track number down.

Lately I’ve seen Epik High everywhere on TV, advertised for concerts and at performances. They’re really huge here in Korea. Well, this is a live release of their songs on the show Madam B Salon. Their band version of One rocks! Also, I’ve been seeing Buga Kingz around everywhere as well. It’s a group consisting of 3, one member is Bobby Kim. Love Bobby Kim’s voice.

For the moment, I’ll upload my pictures on my wordpress server. I’m gonna try do an all nighter tonight, that’s why I’m online posting. I will get studying right after. Serious lol. Damn, wish i could just sit in front of the computer and work on this site for a few weeks. Another two weeks and exams are over~ Anyways, back to this album review. I actually saw the MV first before listening to the song by itself. I thought… it was okay… but now it’s totally catching on. Big Bang…their songs are so catchy! Totally diggin in now. One thing that made me totally scratch my head in astonishment was Dae Sung’s pronounciation of “proceed” in the sentence “I grab her hand and proceed” in the song ‘With U’. Omg, it sounded so like “I grab her hand and pussy” ROFL. I was like… what the hell?!!! The other remakes of their songs sound so weird considering that I’m so used to the original version. Track 1-4 & 6 is sung in English, track 5 English and Japanese, track 7 in English and Korean and track 8 is mainly in Japanese. Surprisingly Tae Yang’s version of “My Girl” in Japanese is pleasant to listen to, it flows very smoothly but I’m not sure about his Japanese pronounciation since I myself am not a native Japanese speaker.

A single with the top female groups in Korea. I like it. However, it’s a bit difficult to differentiate who’s singing what because their voices are similar to one another. I can tell the difference between SeeYa and Davichi but not Black Pearl. Also, they used the basic beat from Brown Eyed Girl’s song “L.O.V.E”.

At first, i thought they were okay… the song sounded alright. But then, now the title song is stuck in my head, it’s pretty good. I also like the Boom Track version of the title song. Other than that, i thought track 4 was worth listening to. I think, since seeing them perform live and seeing them in person, has made a difference. Meilin is 19 this year, that’s pretty young… I’d say she’s good but not outstanding though… I was just listening to her song ‘Liar’, i was wondering what the english word she was singing meant, i checked the lyrics and it’s actually ‘coward’ which she pronounces are cowirl? Same with the words ‘my word’, sounds like my wirl. That was slightly annoying.

MK~ Yay.. I get excited basically with any Orifeel Sound artist. Especially Kai and MK. Orifeel Sound artists always do a great job of incorporating rap/hip-hop and ballad together. Way to go~~~ Great single. Even the intrustrumentals, intro and interlude are beautiful.

Not bad… Tracks 1 and 3 sounds very dramatic, but nevertheless good enough. Tracks 5 and 6 and then it gets slower with the ther tracks. Ahaha… the cover picture. I’ve been wondering what he was doing. At first i thought there was a fork in his mouth but then looking again, it looks like he’s holding a pair of sunglasses??

Nice album. I would recommend tracks 2, 3, 9. Track 8 is a slighly upbeat electronic song, no bad either. The rest is also good but just didn’t stand out like the ones i highlighted.

It feels as though there is a big difference in terms of vocals. Kim Dong Wan I feel, has improved a lot in this album. His voice sounds stronger and the song selections are good. Love the title track.
