If anyone out there like M TO M as much as I do, I’ll recommend you download the first and second album. The first album is EXCELLENT, and the second album is very hard to come across, so download before you miss out! I remember searching everywhere to download M TO M’s second album, luckily i was given a link by xx04201987xx
Se7en’s latest song, i can’t find it anywhere, don’t think it’s released yet, there’s only a low quality version of ari no mama, so i guess you’ll have to wait for the single to be released.

Wow. Your Korean is very good~~ Your school teaches Korean? Thats really cool. The only language my school teaches aside from English, is French. Our school should have courses to learn other languages. I’m sure many students will be interested. Thats good that you like Korean music. I like it too. Especially singers like Rain, Se7en, BoA, Lee Hyori, Lim Jeong Hee, and Jang Nara~~
Thanks for the links to download the albums. I’ll download them right away. =) As well, make sure you go on to http://www.youtube.com and search for “Cha Soo Kyung”. She’s a really great singer. She can reach the really high notes that Mariah Carey can reach. I’d love to listen to her own songs, but I don’t know if she has any. Its kind of hard to keep up with Korean entertainment since I don’t live in Korea anymore. =(

When you said “한국 음악 아주 좋아해~~”, you forgot to add “을” after “음악”. It would make more sense if you said “한국 음악을 너무 좋아요~~” because “너무” means “really”, and “아주” means “very”. But other than that, your Korean is good. What level are you on?
By the way, do you like any Korean dramas?

For some reason, I downloaded M To M’s 2nd album, but I can’t bring the files out of the folder, and on to my desktop. I get this pop up message that says something about “Windows: Diagnostic”. Do you know how to fix this problem?

Probably a million mistakes but it’s fun! I’m revising. Thanks for the correction. I always get mixed up with the particles, sometimes we can omit and sometimes not. I thought 너무 means ‘too’ and it sounded a bit weird if you translated it in english. I always get confused when to use 너무 and 아주.

Thanks for the track list. I tried searching YesAsia before but couldn’t find it. Your Korean is considered good since you’ve only been learning for 1 year. Continue to work hard, and study hard. 화이팅~~~~ =)
Korean dramas are interesting to watch. Although a few of them have similar story lines. For example, 2 people love each other but can’t be with each other for some reason. In the end, they get to be together.
Some Korean dramas I would recommend watching would be..

- 이 죽일 놈의 사랑 (starring 비/정지훈, 신미나, 김사랑, 이기우)
- 가을동화 (starring 송혜교, 원빈, 송승현)

I’ve seriously watched all of those you’ve mentioned.
I really like Glass Slippers though. One of the first korean dramas I watched. Others you haven’t mentioned that i like are, Save Your Last Dance For Me, Kim Sam Soon, Goong, All About Eve, Beautiful Days, Fashion 70s, I’m Sorry I Love You, Sad Love Story, Sweet 18, Wish Upon A Star, Success Story of a Bright Girl etc…
My favourite movie is ‘A Millionaire’s First Love’.
Argh…. too many to recall!! Ahaha… my mum also loves watching Korean dramas ^__^ What does that tell you? I’m asian. lol.

I think its very cool people are learning other languages. Isn’t it kind of difficult to be learning 2 different languages at once? I mean, Japanese has like Chinese characters that seems very difficult to write. That was the reason I decided to not learn Japanese. Although, they have good singers, and I really like the drama Hana Yori Dango 1&2. HYD is the first Japanese drama I’ve ever watched.
Right now, I live around the Korean Town at Finch & Yonge. Yes, I did live in Korea before moving here. I might be going back to visit soon. Since I have 2 months off of school for summer holidays right now.

I first became interested in Korean after watching a few dramas. Then i realized that i pay more attention to the music than what’s going on. lol. The language sounded very different from what i usually hear. Korean sounded… how do i explain…. easier on the ears than other languages I’ve heard. Also I was interested in the culture, the strong bond between people and the roles of men and women in the Korean society. I find it very interesting. Then i started to get into music and basically now my main point of studying Korean is to understand what I’m listening to everyday. Korean music is basically all i listen to. I used to listen to a lot of English songs, especially when pop and ballads were popular in the 90s, then there was a dramatic shift in English music that i really didn’t like. However, Korean ballads were introduced and i guess it reflects on the culture as to what is appropriate to put in songs and what is not and I like that. Korean artists put a lot of emotion into singing their songs and can be felt by those listening their music. There’s this feeling of innocence…. ahh.. I can’t explain!
I’m getting there… i used to not understand a single thing, now i can pick up a few sentences and words along the way and guess the song context, which is really exciting and a great way of learning the language. Japanese… i studied it in high school because it was a compulsory unit i think… then i decided to continue but I’m not immersed in the culture and entertainment industry as with Korean. Plus, my future goal is to work in Korea or something to do with Korean relations and or with Asian countries, therefore, it’s kind of a bonus to know a few languages. I’m studying Arts/Commerce double degree, so hopefully that’ll get me somewhere closer to my dreams. Some people say learning a language is easy… compared to maths and other academic studies. Really, it’s not as it seems. You wouldn’t believe how many great Uni students struggle with learning languages. I find quite challenging myself but considering that I have a great interest in the Korean culture and language, it makes it a bit easier… thinking of it… I read Korean words everyday!! Most are from song titles and names etc… @_@

By the way, I’m looking forward to seeing your collection of Korean cds. You said you have about 30. Well, thats definately more than me. Although I don’t buy many cds/dvds. I don’t really like spending all that money on them. Asian cds are often more expensive because they have to ship them here from the other side of the world.
The Korean cds I have would be all of Rain (비)’s albums and single albums, his Rainy Day concert dvd (limited edition and was quite expensive), and 1 BoA (보아) album.. But its her Outgrow one which is Japanese.

I was reading some news in your news category, and the one about Rain caught my attention. I have all his albums, singles, and more. So that shows I really like him. Well, it said he’ll be continuing his tour AFTER the filming in October. Hearing about his tour rescheduling sucks because I don’t know how long I’ll have to wait until he has a concert in Toronto. I mean, I heard rumours about him coming to Toronto last year in October. I was so excited because they said he’d be coming in February. I kept searching and found out the concert wasn’t until June. The day they first started selling the tickets, I rushed home from school to buy one. I went to the pre-concert event at Pacific Mall. Didn’t understand what they were saying, but it didn’t matter much. Anyways, I was really excited because the concert was less than 1 month away. Then I find out its been CANCELLED! Now I have to wait even longer because the filming is 3 months away!
I can’t wait for Rain and Se7en to debut in America and Canada. That’ll mean the fans here will be able to see them more often. And hopefully, that’ll also mean their albums and stuff won’t be as expensive.

I downloaded Se7en’s Believe.mp3 but I don’t know why the file isn’t adding to iTunes. I tried dragging the file there, and importing the file, but it doesn’t work. I know for sure its not because there’s not enough space since my iPod is 30GB and I only used up about 15GB.

미안,, I just realized I forgot to reply to something in one of your posts. This was all the way back on June 26th but, you said you thought “너무” means “too” .. “too” is actually “도”. For example, if you say “me too” or “you too”, it’d be “나도” or “너도” ^^
By the way, I’m not sure if I asked you this before, but are you going to continue studying the language?

Stupid stupid question, but how in the world do you get these into itunes? I know I did it ONCE with a Super Junior T song, but I’ve been trying my best to figure out how to get FT Island’s MPG, but it’s not working for me. T_T
I click on “download file” right? .. When I do, it goes into QuickTime player on the website page and that’s it. I don’t know what to doooo, lol, I’m DESPERATE for these songs – It’s like LOVE.. That I can’t get because it’s stuck on the internet.

Thanks for the suggestion. I used to get annoyed because everything was in .zip format because i wanted to try the songs individually. But having it zipped, i agree, is a lot faster to download, that’s only if you want the whole album.
Next time, I’ll try find zipped albums to add with the individual links. I can’t really upload individual and zipped at the same time because I’m kind of limited by my internet plan, but yeah.. I’ll search around for links and if i don’t have time, maybe i can just add the zipped files only

I’ll be going over to Korea to study at Yonsei University if I’m successful. Very intensive Korean language classes, i think around 2 hours a day, five days a week, for the whole year!! The only prob, they don’t teach Korean in English. I mean… how are you supposed to learn Korean in Korean? I guess I’ll just have to suffer but it’ll be a great experience.

Of course it’s cheaper to buy online lol. It costs around US$12.99 for an album on Yesasia. Spend over US$25 and you get free shipping, usually for most countries. I’ve been to a local shop where i live and they sell the CDs for around $27 and singles for $17, that’s really a rip off, plus the range is very limited. But sometimes when i have the urge for something new to listen to would i go out and randomly pic a few CDs and after that regretting it lol. Good thing about Yesasia is that they sell old CDs as well and the service is excellent.

In Japan, he was recognized as a quite popular Korean singer
who has an angelic voice by his very touching song ‘Only Human’

Just a note. My internet, has been capped again… how shocking. Ah.. i hate it when it happens! Too bad we’re stuck with the same plan. Therefore, I can’t upload and can barely download and view pages. Have you resolved the problem with Megaupload? First you have to look on the top right hand for a box to type in a the letters you see next to it. After you type in the letters, you have to wait for a minute. When the minute is up, there should be a download link. Hope that helps.

Obviously people think of everyone stereotypically, and the sad thing is that you can’t just escape it. I actually haven’t hung around with Viets that much… so I can’t say anything really meaningful. But since you asked, when I think of Viet, I think of a friend from way back when, her broad nose, the name nguyen, and this place where viet people sell herbs. The language is not that bad from the seldom times I’ve heard it spoken. At least it doesn’t make me want to stick a fork in my eye like when people around me start speaking in Chinese. Maybe it’s because they always seem to be yelling…
I’m rooting for you! I hope you really get the chance to visit so. korea. If you do, the places not to miss out on obviously are lotte world, everland, 63 building, and seoul tower. Although i’ve never actually been inside of the 63 building, i’ve seen some random images of it in kdramas:P Ahhhh, I’m really jealous…

Hey Neko, thanks for the album link. As well, thanks for adding FT Island songs on your page. I probably would’ve never heard about them if I didn’t see their songs here. They are an amazing boy band. I haven’t heard all their songs yet, but I really love “Love Sick”. My next favourite song would be “Thunder”. The lead singer Lee HongKi is just amazing~~ Wonderful singer, and very good looking.
Anyways, thanks again for adding their music here. Hopefully I’ll get their album sometime in October. I have to order it when I go to the stores, and then wait for them to get it.
As well, I’m sure you’ll get accepted. When you go there, you should definately visit this amusement park .. I think its called “Magic Land”? Sorry I can’t really remember the name. I’ve never been there, but I saw it on “Full House”, and it looks like a great amusement park. As well, I don’t remember the name for this either, but its a tower. I’ve never been there either, but I saw it on “My Girl” and it seems really nice too.
Well, I’ve talked too much. xP I also can’t remember all the great places in Korea you could visit, so before you go, make sure you get a travel guide. You wouldn’t want to miss out on anything.

There’s also a small korean grocery store near my place that sells cds but it’s almost double the price for one cd. I only buy it from there when i really want something new to listen to. There’s not much a variety there. Where I live there are around 12 or 13 Korean stores A hair dresser, hair studio, a video and gift shop, 2 mini marts, a charcoal chicken, bread house and three restaurants. I haven’t actually been to the other mart to check for cds but i don’t think they would have any. Most CDs can be found in Korean marts / grocery stores. I could go up to the city to buy them, but it’s too much of a hassle. Ordering online is much easier. More cds to choose from, including old hard to find ones.

The only option is to download at Youtube quality, which is to go to : http://kpopvideo.com, click on the link on top that says kpop video and search for it in the search bar. But then, you’ll need an flv converter. A bit confusing.

I haven’t really listened to their other songs because I’m so obsessed with 사랑앓이 and 천둥. Their other songs are good too, but the only song I haven’t heard is “남자의 첫사랑 무덤까지 간다”. But I’ll listen to it when I get the album. If I wasn’t so obsessed with HongKi, I probably wouldn’t buy their album, I’d just download the songs. I know its bad, but at least I am getting the album now. HongKi has so much talents. I saw him do a bit of break dancing, and some other thing on 2 game shows online. The game shows are “Star King (스타 킹)” and something like “Happy Shares Company”. You should watch them .. its interesting. =)
As well, I don’t know if you order your CDs on YesAsia, but if you do, do they only accept American money? I live in Canada, and I don’t want to wait for the people at the stores to call me because I asked for it about a week ago, and they still haven’t called me to tell me how much its going to cost. I’m sure its not a difficult thing to do. So anyways, I was planning on ordering it online, but then it said something about only accepting American money. =(

For Yesaisa you can pay by Paypal, using you’re own bank account. Or you can pay whichever way you prefer. It’s in American dollars. They’ll convert it for you in the bill, usually conversion fee is an extra $1.00. If you want to know how much it costs, you can check at the bottom of their homepage for the exchange rates for which ever currency you need. Once you get the exchange amount, i guess you’ll have to work out by yourself how much it is all together. That’s what i usually do.

I guess wordpress, the site I’m using now, is the best at the moment. Well… from what i searched. It has more options and functions. More freedom to make your own site layout etc.. But, the html encoding for this is a bit confusing and time consuming… I guess every other site is the same. WordPress looks more professional than those other dodgy sites ahaha.. If you’re talking about uploading sites, i guess 4shared isn’t too bad but I’ve been seeing the http://www.mediafire.com is gaining popularity, I quite like it. It’s easier to download from. Hm.. wait… my bad. It says on the site already the amount in Canadian Dollars. The amount they say it is in Canadian dollars is fairly precise to the exchange rate they have at the bottom. So you’ll be paying the total of the Canadian dollars in your shopping cart to them. It’ll get converted anyhow. Don’t worry. I know, it’s a bit confusing to start off but from there, it’s smooth sailing. As long as you have the Canadian amount of money in your account. It so sounds like I’m a Yesasia sales person lol.
Only time you would worry about US Dollars is if you’re sending a money order. You have the money order in US Dollars, the exchange rates decided by your post office. eg. You’ll say you want to get a money order for US14.99, and you’ll pay your post office the amount in Canadian dollars.
Just if you’re wondering, the calculations, other way around:
US$1/CDN$0.9984 = US$1.0016 (That is, one Canadian dollar is equivalent to US$1.0016, which is fairly similar, Canadian dollar is stronger by tiny bit) multiply by CDN$14.97 = US$14.99. You get the US price as stated right?

Thanks for your help. The total is going to be nearly $21. I’m probably going to order the album tomorrow. I went to YesAsia and checked out the process thing to get to the total. Its weird how they said FT Island’s album is qualified for free shipping worldwide, but I have to pay $5.99 or $7.99 for shipping. =/ But anyways, you do sound like a salesperson. But its not a bad thing. You can use your knowledge to help others who have never ordered from YesAsia before. I really wish there was an actual YesAsia store. Preferably one close to where I live so I can go there anytime I want to find all the stuff I’m looking for. Then, I wouldn’t have to pay for shipping.

I ordered Cheerful Sensibility. =) Its going to take 6-10 days for delivery, but I’m really excited to get it. Soon, I’ll be able to listen to “남자의 첫사랑 무덤까지 간다” (the only song I still haven’t heard from the entire album), and I get to see the amazing artwork included. =D I read one of the reviews on YesAsia and it said the book came with a nice surprise. So I’m even more excited to get it. =D
Lol anyways, you probably don’t care about this, but I thought I’d share it with you since we were talking about YesAsia. =) When I get it, I’ll let you know the stuff it comes with, so maybe if you’re interested, you would buy a copy too~~~~~

Their 1st debut was in 25th August on a MBC show called ‘Show! Music Core’. They are the winner of Show Survival, a singing competition.

I love expressing myself through the music i listen to and introducing others to different music in the hope of promoting the artist but at the same time, there’s that copyright infringement issue. I’m still considering whether i should make this site a login access site. You have to be a member. But then… that limits people to what i want to share because i know personally how hard it is to come across music download links. There’s always that feeling that someone’s watching over or one day will. It’s a bit freaky… lol
I guess the Asian music industry doesn’t have as much power as those in America who can spend big bucks bringing random people to court. That lump sum in the article you provided was ridiculous. It’s all a scam to make money, a scapegoat for their lack of ability to make any money from CD sales. Or perhaps they are trying to put out a strong firm message for any future offenders. Let’s just say for a moment, that no such thing as mp3 existed. Would you know the artists whom you are currently listening to even existed? There’s both an up and down side. This debate surely will not end. I can write more but that’s just what’s off the top of my head for the moment. I haven’t thought about it in great detail but it’s a great issue to debate about

I read a review on YesAsia that said the package is pretty big. It comes with a personalized resealible (sorry,, can’t spell >__<”) bag. How does that look like? Does it come with their autographs? And 45+ pictures of them with a CD tucked in the book. As well, an adorable robot that guides you through the pages? Please tell me all the stuff it comes with. Thanks for telling me about the link. I think i gotta download that song on another server. I originally got it from ensnips. If you want to try look there instead or wait when my internet speed gets back to normal on Sunday lol. Happy Chair only released a single. All their songs can be found in the post I added. There’s a link you can download from there if want or wait again…ahah… There’s three main songs and the rest are instrumentals. Ah.. you mentioned in a post about the romanization. I guess you’re not used to my romanization. I was trying to make it easier for those who cannot read korean. 가슴에. Some people might just read as Kaseum ‘e’ as separate, emphasizing ‘e’ by itself. It doesn’t sound natural when spoken. We’ve been taught at Uni to read as i have romanized. Just to make it sound more fluent. Not sure if it’s working for those who read my lyric romanization. Does it help at all? What do you think? You seem confused! Maybe i should change it?

FT Island’s Cheerful Sensibility arrived~~ I come home from school, and I see it on my desk, and I opened it right away. =) This is THE BEST album I ever purchased for that price. The personalized resealable bag isn’t as cool as I thought it’d be. It has a sticker of them on the back, and its just like any other resealable bag. But all of this is half the stuff I got from the Rainy Day concert DVD limited edition, and muchh cheaper. I also told you on a review it said there’s a nice surprise inside,, but there wasn’t. It was the CD, and a lot of nice pictures.
* Sorry, I was going to post this before replying to your post, but then I kept forgetting. I was going to read about the successful surgery for Choi JinYi (not a fan but interested in the story), then I remembered this post, so I came back.

Hey Nicole, just here to let you know about some singers you may have never heard about. I found out about them recently, but their music is pretty good. You can listen to them on YouTube, maybe even eSnips.
- June (I found out he’s Korean but he sings in Japanese. He may have some Korean songs, but I’ve only heard 2 Japanese songs; “Pride of Tomorrow” and I can’t remember the other song name. >__<”) But some people say he sounds better than Se7en. I don’t agree to that since I’ve never heard him live, but he’s a good singer.
- Som2 (솜이) only heard 2 of her songs “Pray” and “I Turn To You”, and they are pretty good as well. I read that she is known as the 2nd BoA because she debuted at a young age. But I don’t think you should compare 2 people by the age they debuted.
Anyways, you may like those songs because from what I remember, they were slow, or quite slow songs. And I think you’ve said you love ballad songs.

Thanks for the link. He does sound less husky. I guess he changed his style of singing that’s why. You reminded me of Lee Seung Gi. About 4shared.. Most of the songs i upload i label first with album info, year, artist, track number, language and album picture. Just wondering if 4shared stuffs it all up. I remember try downloading one of my links and all the Korean turned out to be all jibberish symbols. However, when i played it on Windows Media Player I could read the Korean properly and the other info. But… I remember downloading from 4shared and all the labels were distorted, even in Media Player. Do you guys have the same problem. That’s the downside of 4shared

sometimes when i download from 4shared the title comes out as e.g. 4._____…..its just a line..no words nothing…and the info became gibberish symbols(-__-”‘)…most of the time it comes out right tho..i play my songs and all wit vlc cos it plays most formats..(including flv.)…media player used to lag my comp down so i seldom use it now…save a lot of trouble..

I know you’re studying Japanese too, so you probably watch Japanese dramas as well. Anyways, recently I finished watching ‘クロサギ / Kurosagi [Black Swindler]‘. Its an interesting drama about a guy who is swindling swindlers to get revenge for his family. His dad killed his mother, sister, and himself before because someone swindled him, so now he’s getting revenge by swindling other swindlers, and having them arrested. Well, not going to tell you more but if you haven’t seen it already, you can watch it on YouTube. Search for the user ‘DarkFantasy333′. There’s suppose to be a movie for the continuation sometime in 2008. I’m looking forward to watching that. And if you’re interested in downloading the drama, let me know and I’ll give you the site.

As for Sienna, I found that their online label is 윈즈커뮤니케이션. I don’t watch Japanese dramas, I suppose because they’re not as accessible as Korean dramas. You can barely find them here or maybe because i haven’t been to the right places hehe.. The only thing I started watching was ‘One Litre of Tears’. I only watch a bit of it so far. Ooh… that song. I remember my friend saying he really liked this song and he made me listen to it. It was fairly good the first listen considering this guy’s an actor. It’s from My Sassy Girl is it?
